Picked this up at Big W today. Loiks like it could be a good read. No matter what people say lets be honest anything that opens a window into a different lifestyle is always worth a read.

Valentines day and Clerics

Ok let start by saying Valentines day sucked a fat one. Thats all Im going to say on the matter. The day was ok, the night not so much. Rolled a Cleric on DDO today just for the fun of it and realised that as much as I love the game there is some serious issues with getting groups. I think they have made it to soloable now and so people dont even bother until they reach Stormreach.

DDO is swallowing my life....

Well not truly but like all things gaming related I just love to jump in as deep as I can quickly and so the last 24 hours went something like this.
1am go to bed
7.45am "Happy Valentines day baby"
SLEEP
11am Coke and DDO
12,1,2,3,4,5 Same as above other than a 30 minute window when I went and brought more coke and some chocolates for Deanne for Valentines day. When I say chocolates the truth is more a block of Cadbury Crunchie chocolate because lets be honest Valentines day shouldn't be about capitalist commercialization. :P

Here is the picture of the day. Its of my chillies that I like to say I grew but lets be honest, Deanne waters them way more than I do, I just occasionally prune them and admire them. Those little buggers are very hot. Haberenos or some such.

Anyways that's about the length of my day, oh other than the fact I took the battery out of the R32 today and started her up using my other battery. She still hums like a humming bird. Really should sell her but I kinda love her still. So much more fun to drive than Kermit.

DDO yup

Was bored last night with magic so decided to download Turbine's Dungeons and Dragons Online. Man what an awesome free to play game this is. Sure, if you want to spend money on it then you can to get better items etc but even just playing the F2P version its great. Besides the awesomeness of it being D&D the real positive for me is the fact its something that has broken the MTGO craze in my head for a few hours. :)
On a RL note I'm on holidays for the next 9 days so figure I should make some effort to get outdoors. As a starter to this awesome idea I mowed the lawn today and some other stuff so actually got out of cyberspace for a few hours. :P

Also since I am trying to make an effort to blog more often I have decided to add "Picture of the Day" to all my posts. Yes the idea is cool but to be honest it is more something to keep me motivated to post. I figure if I have to take a picture and also post thats 2 things instead of one to keep me heading in the writing direction. :)

Magic the Gathering Online - Return to Nerdism

Ok so a mate of mine has started playing MTGO and of course he has to post about it on that social media site that rules the world. Gets me thinking, "Hey I'm pretty sure I have an account for that lying around." Low and behold I do the silliest thing in the world.... I go to wizards.com and download the client. After a few attempts at remembering the password I'm in and playing again. Now let me list how this week went. We need to go back to the beginning so here it is condensed:

• Monday 30/01: Facebook -Vyxanis Tirios I've beaten Adrian twice now at Magic, and both those times were bullshit lucky xD 
• Tuesday 01/02: Client download. Wow time: 5 hours MTGO time: 1 hour Bed: 12am
• Wednesday 02/02: Wow time: 2 hours MTGO time: 3 hours Bed: 12am
• Thursday 03/02: Wow time 20 minutes MTGO time: 7 hours Bed: Fucking late
• 04/02 to now: Repeat Thursday! 

To be perfectly honest this is the first time I have not been on there since I started playing again. Loving pauper format, really fits in a lot of games without doing an Adrian and spending $$$$$ on decks.

OK so the up side of this escapade is that my boredom levels are at 0 all the time. Between work and home I am pretty much fulfilled mentally 100% of the time. The downside to this is that I feel like Deanne is getting the bum end of the stick. Starting tomorrow (I'd start today but she is already sleeping) I am going to try to implement some time constraints on Internet/gaming in general so I can dedicate some more time to home and girlfriend. Its very easy to slide back into the single gamer lifestyle with plates, glasses and empty cans littering the desk and I really think that 10 minutes of, "Hi baby, OK I'm going to jump on the net" doesn't really equate to a balanced lifestyle between Gaming and Girl. :P

Anyways Im out to go to bed play some magic!

Down South for a day

Headed down south for the day with mum, dad and Az. Deanne and I thought we would go alomg for the ride. Was fun to go see the changes that have occurred over the last few years. Dunno bakery was awesome as always. Boranup was also pretty. Augusta pub wad ok, great views but pretty average food.

New Supernatural is kickass

Totally enjoying the new Supernatural episode. God bless eztv.it for letting me.get it the same day it screens in the US! Oh and kitty loves it too.
